Paskha is a delicious dish that is made out of cottage cheese and served on Easter day. This Paskha recipe includes boiled condensed milk which gives it a sweet caramel taste. This is an easy to follow recipe with only 8 ingredients.
We will need:
First, soak the dried apricots in hot water for 15 minutes, then chop them. Grind the nuts in a food processor or in a plastic bag with a rolling pin.
Mix sour cream, cottage cheese, cream and vanilla sugar. All ingridients should be at room temperature. Beat until the mixture looks like a cream. Beat butter with caramelized milk. Now mix all the ingredients. Prepare a high-sided plate for the whey to drain before placing the mixture in the cottage cheese paskha mold.
Put a piece of gauze previously soaked in boiled water into the mold, straightening the folds. Put the cottage cheese mass a little above the edge of the mold. Set it under oppression, for example, a cutting board and some load on top. Put in the refrigerator for 1.5 days.
You can decorate paskha to your taste. I decorate it with salted caramel. Our cottage cheese paskha is ready. Look how beautiful it is! Cook with pleasure, please your loved ones.
